ADRIANA PATSALOU
Art ,  Space  &  Creative Direction

Multidisciplinary designer and visual artist working across interiors, fashion, visual arts and creative direction.

Professional Profile

Adriana Patsalou is a Cyprus-based multidisciplinary designer and visual artist with more than two decades of experience in interior design and a creative practice extending across fashion, visual arts, spatial concepts and creative direction.

Her work is informed by a background in fine arts and an ongoing interest in the relationship between aesthetics, materiality and human experience. Moving between disciplines, she approaches design as both a visual language and a means of shaping perception, emotion and everyday life.

Her professional journey includes an established practice in interior design, the development of her eponymous fashion label, international presentations and artistic collaborations.

Today, her practice increasingly focuses on independent creative research, conceptual development, visual storytelling and the exploration of human experience through design.

Professional Experience

Interior Design | Independent Practice

With more than 20 years of experience in interior design, Patsalou has developed residential, retail and other spatial projects, with particular emphasis on composition, materiality, aesthetic coherence and functionality.

Her approach integrates architecture, interiors, furniture and objects into cohesive environments, balancing practical requirements with a distinctive visual identity.

In 2012, her work was recognised with the International Property Award for Best Retail Interior Design.

Her recent practice includes private real-estate projects and independent spatial concepts.

Fashion | Founder & Creative Director

Patsalou presented her first fashion collection in 2015 and established her eponymous brand in 2017.

As founder and creative director, she conceived and developed the Terminal 1A, Terminal 2A, Terminal 1S and Terminal 2S collections, alongside Haute Sports Limited and Experimental Couture.

The collections explored sculptural silhouettes, structured and oversized forms, unconventional proportions and original textile prints.

The creative process frequently began with digital collage, bringing together visual references, artistic ideas and material experimentation. These compositions evolved into original prints, garments and a distinctive aesthetic identity.

Sustainability was an integral part of the brand’s philosophy, expressed through limited-edition capsule collections, made-to-order production and the creative reuse of existing material stock.

Her collections were presented during Paris Fashion Week and at Tranoï Richelieu, while her work received editorial recognition in international fashion publications.
